Passion for Life 5K Run/Walk Inspirational Families 2008
In our inaugural year, Sydnie Guttovz and the Guttovz family were our inspiration for the Passion for Life 5K Run/Walk. Bob (teacher at Sarah Banks Middle School) and Sundie (former teacher in Walled Lake - staying home now to take care of Sydnie) gave birth to Sydnie Guttovz on March 9, 2006. Unexpectedly, the doctor's reported complications to Sydnie's heart; and within weeks the family was informed of her condition and that by the age of three she will need to undergo three heart surgeries. Her strength and courage is an inspiration to everyone. We thank Sydnie and the Guttovz family for being our inspiration and giving us the Passion for Life!
